This is the perfect time to start a garden, you can begin it indoors so the last of the chill does not get it - and you can get going with just a packet of seeds and some stuff you have lying around the house!!!items you can use are plastic berry containers, plastic food containers, toilet paper or paper towel tubes...
you can plant your veggies in the containers, and i f you want to be able to replant them easily use the paper tubes to separate the seeds so the roots will stay separate...then you can plant them just like that into the ground (a little further apart) later on once they begin to sprout!!!
just remember when you water to keep a flat pan under the containers to catch the extra water....the foam that comes under met - once thoroughly washed works well for this!!!
